Nice to have steel!(08/11/2014)
This was super easy to install!! I went with the Wolff "standard" weight trigger spring, Brownell's part no 969-000-060. One doesn't get much easier of a trigger job than this! I would also recommend the "D" hammer spring. The reduction in length-of-pull is minimal, but noticeable. Worth the time and money!
A nice upgrade(25/09/2015)
An easy install, also added the Wolff trigger spring upgrade. Watched a couple of youtube vids on Beretta 92 upgrades to assist in my understanding. Knocked the trigger and spring upgrade over a cup of tea; at the same time I dropped in a 16lbs hammer spring. The pistol has now gone from a very fine firearm to an excellent one with this combo.
Makes the M9 even easier to shoot well(10/10/2015)
I've shot the 92F / M9 extensively since 1988 including combat deployments. I have medium hands and short fingers. The Short Reach Trigger and "D" hammer spring make the pistol even easier to shoot well (especially in single action), as significantly as the SIG short reach triggers do for the P226 and 228. Very easy to install with no fitting required on an older 92F.
Short Reach Steel Trigger(20/01/2016)
It's a good product but before installing this item into my Beretta 96FS. I took the old trigger out and compared it this new one. It might just be me, but they looked exactly the same. I installed the new trigger and it was really tight fit. Anyway, I dry fired the gun with the old trigger and after the new trigger install in SA and DA to compare trigger pull and it felt exactly the same. Maybe it'll feel different out at the range.
Perfect upgrade to oem 92A1 plastic(24/01/2016)
Wilson makes great parts, this is no exception. Replaced and smoothed out the OEM trigger on a 92A1, makes trigger pull much better, with more fundamental "press" with the short reach.
Not good fit for Vertecs(24/04/2016)
I have a Vertec 92G and this trigger does not work well with the vertec frame. The vertec's come with a polymer short reach trigger with a larger over stop tab on the back of the trigger which prevents the tip of your finger from making contact with the back of the trigger guard. The Wilson combat short reach trigger would be (I imagine) a great trigger for a standard 92 or 92A1 but not a vertec. I still rated this highly because it's obviously a quality part.
I believe I'll end up with a AGW Short reach with speed bump trigger because I still want a steel trigger over the stock polymer but unfortunately Wilson does not make one yet in this configuration.
Worthwhile Upgrade(07/08/2016)
This is a worthwhile upgrade for the 92FS. Wilson didn't have a lot to work with here, but combined with some thinner grips from VZ it does give those of us with smaller hands more confidence with this pistol. In any case, you get to change out a plastic trigger for a steel one. Installation was quick. There is a bit of play, but no more than with the stock trigger. I'm satisfied.
Worthwhile trigger upgrade(27/04/2017)
Can't help but echo a previous reviewer's words in describing this trigger as "worthwhile". There is a small but discernible reduction in trigger reach with this trigger. If you find the 92's wide grip circumference and medium-long trigger reach a bit too much for your hand to comfortably wrap around, this trigger will help. Pair it with slim grips, and the feel of the gun in your hand is quite different from the chunky stock configuration, especially for small-to-medium handed-shooters. There is a bit of empty slop on the initial DA trigger pull - I'm not sure if Wilson could've designed around this, but it's there. That said, the benefit of the shorter trigger reach outweighs this in my opinion. The build and fit is good, and the Wilson's steel finish excellent and very hard-wearing. For the price, don't hesitate to give it a try.
Great Product(27/05/2017)
Allows gun to function with the wolf beretta trigger spring conversion kit if it originally had a poly trigger like mine did. The trigger breaks and almost the very back of the possible pull, makes it easier for people with smaller hands like my gf. More durable than the original trigger. Mine dropped right into a M9A1.
Excellent upgrade, love it(17/08/2017)
This is a high quality trigger that was easy to install and maintains a factory appearance. Works in double action and single action, noticeably better reach (for me personally) and also allows use of the Wolff trigger spring conversion where the factory plastic trigger does not.
I noticed improvements in both double action and single action shooting. Great item!
