Picatinny Rails For Ruger~ 10/22~ Rifles

Tough, lightweight aluminum rails feature Picatinny slot spacing for fast, simple changes to eye relief, plus greater flexibility in scope choice. Three height choices fit various objective sizes, or improve cheek weld. Extends over the barrel, or can be reversed to better position optics with shorter eye-relief. Uses the factory-drilled scope base holes, with no permanent alteration to your rifle.

Great piece at affordable price. The reversability is super feature. Wish the finish matched the new Ruger smooth black better. Would be 5 stars if it did.

Great mounting rail (06/12/2015)

Bought to replace the cheap factory mount, great quality base, finish is better than expected, very light weight, gives you extra rail space off the front of the receiver for larger optics.

I have put over 1,000 rounds through my rifle since installing it and has shown no signs of any issues of any kind.

A little tall (23/06/2018)

Let me start by saying this is a quality product and that the extension provides proper eye relief for a scoped 10/22, which is very difficult to achieve with the stock mount and many aftermarket mounts.

There are a few versions of this mount and after assembling my gun, I wish I had bought the lower profile version, which is also available on Brownells. This version doesn't create significant cheekweld problems, but it is close to doing so and reducing height over the bore axis is typically better. I was worried about clearance between the receiver and the ring mounts, but there is plenty of space.

Also note that this version is about the same height as competing extended rails. So the fact that they offer a lower profile version is a real benefit to shooters optimizing their 10/22s.
