Definitely recommended

Good Product 01/05/2014

I put this on my Marlin 1895 Guide gun, 45-70, sighted it in at 50 yards and went bear hunting. I.put a head shot on the bear on one hunt, and a few body shots on a running bear on another hunt.
In the future, I'll get the rear sight with protective ears on both sides, because I fell down a short hill and bent it.
When I contacted XS customer service, they told me to send in the bent one for full credit towards a winged version. That's GREAT customer service!!!
