Rugged, Quick-Deploy Backup System; Minimal Profile When Folded
Spring-loaded sights deploy at the push of a button to provide instant backup sighting. Quick Deploy System locks securely and requires a firm, positive press of the button to deploy or retract the sight, so it won’t accidentally activate when bumped—these sights stay where you put them. Minimal profile when folded—only .435” high—with radiused edges and a smoothly curved front surface to prevent snagging on foliage, gear, or clothing. Crossbolt and side bar provide solid attachment to MIL-STD 1913 Picatinny or Weaver-style rail systems. All-aluminum construction is lightweight, yet plenty strong to handle the hard knocks of tactical operations, with a durable, scratch-resistant hardcoat anodized finish for extra surface strength. Set contains the front sight with ears and the two-position rear sight.
SPECS: Aluminum, hardcoat anodized, matte black. All models 1” (2.5cm) deployed length, 1¼” (3.2cm) wide, .435” (11mm) folded height. Front Sight w/Ears – 2-1⁄8" (5.4cm) folded length, 1.420” (3.61cm) deployed height from top of base to top of blade. Rear Sight – 2¼” (5.7cm) folded length, 1.425” (3.62cm) deployed height from top of base to center of aperture. Available with .065” or .200” peep hole or dual-aperture with both-size peeps.

Nice sights(15/10/2010)
I mounted these sights on an Adams Arms 5.45X39 upper. For the price, they are nice sites. They are not quite as refined as the Troy Ind., but nor are they as expensive.
Unlike the Magpul MBUS sights, they cannot be accidentally deployed. With a little lube and working the release mechanisms, they smooth out, but you will not have to worry about them popping open on you like Magpuls do if you touch them lightly.
These also lock in the UP position. All in all, nice sight that lay flat.
FYI, the rear sight has to be folded with the large aperture deployed - it won't fold down in the small aperture is at the ready. No big deal. I've always thought that if you have to deploy BUIS in hurry, you're going to want the large aperture anyway. If you have time to use the small aperture, you have time to flip it into place.
Solid(04/06/2012)
I've been in the military for 10 yrs and have been brought up on M16A2 iron sights. Just recently put together a AR where the upper has a picatinny rail base and was looking at optic systems but also wanted iron sights. It is easy to install, very solid, and if you have been brought up on military sights like me, very easy to adapt to (virtually no difference). I also like the fact if you don't want to use the irons, they lay down along the rails as though they are supposed to be there! May be a little pricey, but they aren't showy which I like, and they are easy to use (which I also like). Plus they hold on, both to the rail and the target!
great sights(30/08/2012)
just installed on my M&P 15 and cant wait to shoot. The sights work flawlessly and look great. co-witness to vortex sparc perfectly. you wont go wrong with these sights.
Strong and sturdy(20/01/2013)
The sights do what they are suppose to do: stay on the rifle and deploy when you want them to, and they return to zero. I took off one star because they can not be mounted under a magnifier. The flip up rear sights apatures sit up too high, and the magnifier can not rotate to be in line with the Eotech or Aimpoint. Of course you can move your optics forward, but you lose a lot of depth of field. Still, a very good product.
NEAR PERFECTION OUT OF BOX(23/05/2014)
Tactical use , CG and long range.Co-witness Eoteh ,perfectly.Close range and out to 500m+,nice addition and back up to the Eotech E2 2dot ret.Very sturdy,American made, low profile when in down position.Locks firmly in up and down position,no chance for accidental deployment or closing.Very basic and simple, worth the investment. Its a lttle stiff at first , a little lube-work it in , and good to go!
Rear sight isue(28/12/2015)
The only thing I don't like about these sights it that the rear sight changes point of impact each time it flips up. There seems to be play in the assembly and trying to shoot 200 yard targets isn't working out well. It's a shame, it seems to be great except for that.
High Quality(04/07/2017)
These lay very low when they are not raised. They are very high quality and machined to very tight tolerances. So tight, the buttons to pop them up are pretty stiff at first. Mine needed to be lubed up and pressed a bunch of times. After that they started to loosen up quite a bit. That's my only complaint, that the buttons needed to be broken in a bit.
