Not really perfect (21/06/2012)

Sorry for my english, I am french. I am disappointed by this product, the face is not flat with a deep of 2 or 3 mm in the center in comparison with the edges. On the other face naturally it is the opposite with a bump in the center. Like I am in France it is impossible for me to return this product.

A very useful shop stone (27/12/2012)

I purchased the medium and fine bench stones from Brownells about 12 years ago. Since then my ability to sharpen and polish various parts and knives has been enhanced considerably.

I've had no problems with surface irregularity and the over all quality of these stones is top notch. Their pricing and quality is competitive with DMT's (the best stones) bench stones.

My Stone Is Flat (20/10/2013)

My stone is nice and flat with no irregularities (as opposed to earlier review).
I initially I could not find the instructions, but the paper was in the plastic box, under the stone.
