Not made like it used to be.(27/06/2014)
Bought one of these in 2011 it has 2 very strong magnets on it and works great so I bought 3 from Brownells last week 6/24/2014 and when I got them I found the magnet on the current model I received was pretty much just one long refrigerator magnet glued to the back. The magnet in the new racks did not even come close to holding the rack securely like the original. I would not even think of leaning a gun on one. Under the rack on the package (not seen till the item is removed from the package) it has printed in big letters "WARNING Test strength of magnet grip before leaning gun against product.". The magnet did however secure the rest well enough that when I took it off it pulled the back and the magnet off the unit or just plain fell apart. I ended up buying a strong magnet and putting it inside the rest before I glued it back together. It now works just like the original one I bought in 2011, course once I got done doing all that I had lost an hour of my life I will never get back and it cost me more for the magnet and epoxy glue then the gun rest cost from Brownells.
Must be a better magnetic rest out there then these somewhere. The original one I bought in 2011 lived up to the name "Lockdown" with the good magnets it holds like crazy but these don't even come close ot living up to that name.
