This heavy-duty, solid brass, Recording Trigger Pull Gauge solves the problem of trying to be quick enough of eye to see where that little pointer on the gauge was when the trigger released. A “tally” is pushed along a rod by the pointer. When the trigger releases, the pointer flies back . . . but the “tally” stays put, giving positive reading. Has deeply embossed black numbers in pounds, ounces and grams. Zero adjustment. Precision spring. Extra long trigger hook to clear grips and stocks. Large hand loop. Three Models: 6 POUND measures to 6 pounds in 1 ounce increments. Especially useful for gun work as most scales/gauges measure only to 4 or 4½ pounds . . . not enough to measure many triggers. Plus a second scale, the 12 POUND with a 12 pound capacity reading in 2 ounce increments. Ideal for measuring factory pull on double-action revolvers and other heavy triggers. 25 POUND measures to 25 pounds in 4 ounce increments. Some DA pulls even exceed the 12 lb. figure, hence this model. Also great as a way to weigh even the heaviest target or benchrest guns.

Extremely accurate gauge(13/03/2014)
The calibration is easy. Using it is easy. Although it seems at first to have too many parts to deal with, it is quite simple. I verified the accuracy with various weights and found it to be right on! The memory is a quite simple design and very useful.
