The RUGER® BLACKHAWK® EJECTOR ROD HOUSING and Borchardt Rifle EJECTOR ROD HOUSING are designed to enhance your shooting experience. This replacement part is crafted from durable, machined steel, ensuring it outlasts and outperforms the factory aluminum component.
Dimensions: 4" (10cm) long, ¼" (6.3mm) wide. Compatible with Blackhawk models featuring 7½", 5½", and 4-5/8" barrels. Note that older guns with silver brazed studs require the ¼" model, while newer guns utilize the .200" model.

Sizing was appropriate in that it fit on gun. However, milling was not complete in that there was flashing of metal that would have needed to be filed off if I kept it. This housing essentially has 4 sided with 3 visible when on gun. Only one side is finished. It isn't about reducing glare to remove a shooting distraction. It simply looks unfinished because it is unfinished. Brownells needs to drop this product.

I noticed other more negative reviews on this item and I was a bit hesitant when ordering. I was surprised at how tight and perfectly it fit my gun with problem whatsoever. It looks great and has a more balanced feel. New model Blackhawk with 4 5/8" bbl.
