Definitely recommended

Brownells USA Short/long range hammer 18/05/2017

This 75gr bullet turns the 223 or 5.56 into a medium game rifle (up to mule deer size) if your state allows it. It's expensive but man is it a good bullet. Be careful when loading it as it has a long bearing surface and pressure can show up early so start low and slowly work up watching for over pressure signs. It's able to be loaded to 2.250 so it will fit in AR mags. Your loads will be compressed even at a lower charge since this is a long bullet but you can still get it going fast enough with Varget, RL15, BL-C2 etc. If you want your 223 to be an absolute hammer, then this is the bullet you want

I've been shooting Scirocco II's for a couple years now at 3600fps out of my .257Wby. All bullets have exited with nickel sized holes on deer and black bear even at close range. They seem to be much tougher than the original Scirocco's. The 100's have also stayed under MOA out past 600yds for me. Highly recomended.
