Two Textures In One Patch For Aggressive Scrubbing Or Application Of Solvents & Oils
Extra-tough, heavy duty patches with a cross-locking coarse weave on one side for aggressive removal of copper, plastic wad, lead and powder fouling, plus a smooth, flat weave on the other side to apply solvents or oils onto the lands and grooves. Made from a lint-free, super-absorbent blend of cotton and cellulosic fibers that hold more solvent and absorb more fouling than traditional patches. Sized for most calibers, from .22 centerfire to 12 gauge shotguns. Available in 1,000-Paks.

Slightly recommend

Brownells USA Don't buy your usual size 13/03/2016

This might be a really good patch; but I can't tell. If you're buying patches for a .223 rifle, you need to go up a size. These things are so wimpy they just push through easily without picking up much burned powder or copper. Maybe they work really well, but 1 3/8 does not work well at all for .223.

These patches have proven themselves to work most efficiently with the new generation of non-toxic solvents when coupled with nylon bore brushes. The rough side quickly removes powder, copper and carbon fouling with the appropriate solvent, while the smooth side distributes bore lubes and rust preventatives in a consistent thin layer. Being a varmint hunter and load developer, I shoot hundreds of rounds at a time, these patches are my choice for all cleaning chores.
