The Echo Zulu Armorer’s Kit from Tango Uniform is designed to make your AR assembly faster and more consistent. This comprehensive kit includes:

  • One EZ castle nut
  • A steel armorer’s wrench
  • A bi-directional staking guide
  • A spring-loaded, straight-wall center punch

The patent pending EZ castle nut is crafted from premium 4140 PH alloy steel and finished with a long-lasting, diamond hard black nitride. Precision machined on a modern Swiss CNC lathe, it meets or exceeds military specifications, including true class 3 threads. Its design features eight co-linear wrench and staking notches for easier visual alignment and multiple staking locations, accommodating even the largest end plates.

The Armorer's Wrench is also precision machined from 4140 PH alloy steel and finished in a durable black nitride. This premium tool includes a 1/2-inch square drive socket, matching the center-to-center distance of a USGI castle nut wrench, ensuring your torque wrench applies the correct 38-42 FT# when securing castle nuts.

Constructed from premium glass-filled nylon, the bi-directional staking guide enhances durability and features a small, symmetrical design that indexes around most QD end plate designs.

The kit also includes a premium spring-loaded center punch with a large, injection molded comfort grip. The knurled textured body is chrome plated for longevity. The straight-wall staking punch ensures stability within a precision staking guide, made from 17-4 stainless steel and finished in long-lasting black nitride.

The combination of the straight-wall staking punch and precision staking guide works seamlessly with the unique EZ castle nut design, allowing for strong, consistent staking while minimizing the risk of damaging other components.
