An EXCELLENT source of information(03/12/2012)
First off, the Scott Duff is the publisher only. Walt Kuleck is the Author with a lot of help from Drake Oldham. I have used this book to help and guide me on 4 or 5 1911 builds from Commanders to Long slides. Very informative with common pitfalls to try to avoid based on their personal experiences. The book is also full of great photography for a better understanding of the building sequences. Covers everything from Grip screw bushings to Cerakote finishing. Five stars are not enough in my opinion.
