Definitely recommended
A good replacement 29/10/2020
I replaced the original roll pin on my XD9 Service model only because of reports that they would break. I have shot hundreds of rounds through the XD without a hint of failure.
During installation I noticed the black coating was coming off as it went into the slide. The ones that I received had a black finish. The ones in the photo shows roll pins without the finish.
I used a 3/32 punch to get the job done.
If I can do it you can too.

Cheap insurance for peace of mind 06/08/2012
Extremly easy to install. Helped fix one of the only weaknesses of the XD/XDm platform that I had heard of. I installed this in my XDm 9mm compact while doing other work to it. It took about 45 seconds to install.
