Description:

Upgrade Your Action Jobs with Precision Replacement Parts

Don’t be afraid to tackle action jobs on the Uberti '60, '66 and '73 Winchester clones for lack of viable parts. These direct replacement lifter and lever spring sets are made from music wire with a stainless steel mounting base for consistent action jobs time after time.

No need to hand grind the stock springs or leave them loose. Our springs completely eliminate gouged lever and lifter cam surfaces, ensuring smooth operation.

Compatibility and Recommendations

Recommended for use with high-quality, 6-40 tpi screw sets sold separately, as the rough, threaded factory screws are usually damaged when removed. These screws are manufactured with the correct head dimensions and length.

Specifications

  • Springs: Music wire, stainless steel base
  • Screws: Steel, blue, matte-finish, hardened, 6-40 tpi
  • Spring Set: Includes (2) springs
  • Screw Set: Includes (2) screws

Note: Springs and screws must be purchased separately.

Brownells USA Substantial Improvement 03/11/2013

These are a well thought out and well made alternative to grinding the stock leaf springs or loosening the mounting screws to achieve a lighter and smoother lever action. I installed them in my late production Uberti 1866 and the action now rivals friends rifles with $150.00 pro action jobs.

I just ordered another set for a new 1873 as well.

Make sure to order the screws that compliment the kit as the stock items are very soft and (I think) a different thread pitch.

Definitely recommended

Brownells USA Great Product 26/07/2013

These springs are a must have for the 66 or 73 rifles. Very easy to install and makes your rifle run smooth. Added bonus these springs wont wear out the notches on your lever.
