Great replacement spring(02/04/2012)
These new recoil springs are the proper way to get most of our AK's back up to spec, because face it folks, most AK's out there are used imported surplus or used imported cut up parts kits, these rifles were at one time issued to a soldier, guard, or police in their given country. And they already have hundreds of rounds fired through them already. Thats the main reason why so many AK bolts are coming back and hitting the rear trunion, just a worn weak spring. A new recoil spring is the proper fix and forget way to get your AK back in spec.
Good Quality(29/03/2011)
Good quality but no change in felt recoil.
Seems fine(02/03/2012)
Installed the spring, and did some weapon manipulation drills after that, there is definitive change for the better, the action seems smoother and certainly closes faster than with the old spend spring
Better Than The Original(23/03/2012)
I replaced what was possibly the original 1965 op spring on my WASR10. The rifle seem to work smoother and cycle stronger. Would recommend this Wolff spring.
Works great in an Arsenal 100 series(06/09/2013)
I got this for a buddy who has an Arsenal AK 100 series 16" in 7.62x39mm. The spring noticeably reduced muzze rise and recoil. I'm impressed and my buddy is super happy too.
So pleased that I'm buying more(11/09/2013)
I installed one of these Wolff recoil springs in my wasr 10/63 and man I was so pleased. It cycle smother and It feels different when shooting, it helps somehow to the recoil. I just loved the feeling of it when shooting so I'm ordering more for my other AK's. I recommend this for the 7.62x39, not so sure how it works in 5.45x39.
A MUST BUY(26/10/2015)
First there is an obvious difference between the standard wolf spring, and the XP spring. If you have a 7.62x39 the recoil repulse is substantially reduced by 50%. So I'm buying the XP spring for the rest of my ak's before the price go up..lol
