It provides a stable, secure platform for mounting optics, red dots, NVG, backup sights, and other accessories. PRI AR-15 SPR Straight Top Rail Gen II is designed to attach to rifles fitted with a rifle-length PRI round forearm that has an existing 8.5" Picatinny rail mounted on top. It attaches to the receiver rail via three crossbolts and to the forearm’s top rail with screws, for an extremely secure installation that won’t shift under hard tactical or competition use. 17.7" OAL - correct length for use with rifle-length PRI forearms Machined 6061 T6 aluminum Durable matte black hardcoat anodized finish Adds .450" elevation The PRI AR-15 SPR Straight Top Rail Gen II has numbered slots that make removing and remounting accessories easy because you can document exactly where the "sweet spot" is for each component.
