The Radian Weapons (formerly AXTS) Talon™ ambidextrous safety selector is a modular design that can be installed as a standard 90° or as a 45° short throw by simply rotating the shaft 180° inside the lower receiver. Great Safety Selector (12/03/2018)

The Talon continues to be my go-to safety selector for every build. It is comfortable, smooth, well-constructed and is a value for the quality of product. Installation is a breeze, and can be configured several different ways based on shooter preference. You will not be disappointed if you are looking for a ambi-safety.

Great product from a great company. I love these things so much, they are on all my rifles. Easy to install and have a easy throw with a positive click. The little lever is great for the off hand side. It won't bump your hand like most ambi selectors.

They also have a great attachment method for the lever. Unlike most ambi selectors that use screws, these have a detent that holds them in place. So there is no worry about it coming loose.

Excellent! (18/07/2018)

Took about 5 minutes to install the Talon safety in my Colt AR. Nicely made and works perfectly!

First class product (24/07/2018)

Replaced a borrowed DMPS ambi safety on my Ruger AR 556. It took longer to remove the DPMS safety because I had to find the correct tool to remove the screw that holds the second lever in place.

You need a 3/16 long Allen wrench to remove your grip. Use the new spring and detent plunger that comes with the TALON Safety.

With the hammer cocked slide the old safety out. You can easily slide the shaft in place and slide the dovetailed levers on and try it out to see how it suits you before you install the plunger, spring and re-install the grip. If you want the 45 degree option have the closely spaced detents facing down.

A small flat blade screw driver is handy to depress the plunger when you slide the lever in place. The L shaped tool is necessary to remove the lever, a small flat blade will push the plunger down. The lever will trap the plunger before you slip the lever fully on the dovetail. Wear eye protection just in case you slip and teh little spring and plunger hit you in the eye.
