These Magpul MOE M-LOK Handguards are built for carbine length AR-15/M16 firearms. The MOE M-LOK Handguards are built with the same strong, yet lightweight polymer as the legacy MOE Handguards, but come with M-LOK slots at the two, six, and ten o’clock positions. The M-LOK system allows for the attachment of optional M-LOK rail sections and other M-LOK accessories such as light mounts, slings, foregrips, etc.

Great hand guard and easy to install. One thing I missed in the description you can not mount M-Lok product on top of this hand guard. Only sides and bottom so if your planning to mount rail and front sights buy something with the rail built in. My mistake not Brownell or Magpul.

Well built, well fitting item. (17/12/2015)

Replaced the factory hand guards on my S&W M&P 15 Sport with these. Installed easily, fit perfectly. The bottom guard features an aluminum heat shield which the factory guard dose not have. Very solid fit and very robustly built. They offer a better, more hand filling grip than the factory guards. Also, the bottom guard has a small lip protruding downward, at the muzzle end, to help prevent your hand from sliding any further forward.

As you can see in the photo, while I was at it, I availed myself to addtitional MAGPUL items. The Paraclip sling attachment ring and the vertical hand guard attached easily and are rock solid items.

MAGPUL equipment, particularly for the cost, are bargain items. Extremely well built, well fitting, and very robust. And they're made in the USA.
