Definitely recommended

Brownells USA Excellent for brush guns 21/02/2015

I installed these sights on a Marlin 1895 GBL that was produced in their old plant. I am extremely impressed by the improvement in accuracy and sight acquisition speed over the factory sight.



Using the smaller aperture, I was easily able to ring the 100-yard 6-inch steel from a standing, off-hand position. I estimate that the improved sight picture has cut my groups by approximately 2/3, and I'm able to make shots much more rapidly.



Installation was rapid and simple. I love the design of the filler screw for the unused hole in the front sight - it gives an already excellent product a very finished appearance. I have had zero issues with loosening screws. I recommend ensuring that the holes and screws are clean, and that you give the included loctite time to cure before shooting.

I put this on my "Remliin" 1895 Guide Gun and it was a great choice. They allow my older eyes to acquire the target much faster than the stock sites. Look over the instructions as to how to raise the point of impact before you head out to the range.
