The Power Case Trimmer from Forster integrates your standard drill press and can really speed up the case trimming process. Trim length is controlled by the drill press spindle stop; a line-up bar is built in for easy collet set-up; and pilots from the Original trimmer interchange with the Power Trimmer. The cutter is hardened steel (.490 inch diameter) with a one fourth inch shaft and staggered flutes for chatterless cutting. Order optional #33-1417 cutter for .17 and .20 caliber cases. Order collets and pilots separately. Replacement cutter shafts for the Forster Power Case Trimmer.

Trims a lot of cases really fast(09/02/2012)
Got a thousand cases that all need trimmed to the same size? This gadget will plow through them in no time. The precision collets hold firm and give very repeatable trim length, unlike some other drill press trimmers. You do need a decent drill press to mount it, one with a fine depth adjustment. The cheapo [*] machines with a lot of runout and only a coarse depth collar on the downfeed handle won't do. I only wish it deburred at the same time.
Still the best(28/01/2017)
I inhereted one of these 40 years ago. Have been using it ever since with only minor maintenance. You can trim 100 cases in a little more than 10 minutes. And, they won't vary .001" . I second the statement from the other reviewer you need a precision drill press with an accurate depth stop. The $150.00 ones just won't hold tolerance. But if you reload in quantity, it'd be worth it to invest in a good press just for this use. I've used many hand and powered trimmers in the past. None can approach the speed and precision of the Forester Drill Press unit. Get one of the pilot kits and the extra collet and you can trim anything from .25 Auto to .577 NE.
