Zev starts with their own trigger, trigger bar, trigger block, ejector, connector, trigger spring, a lightweight stainless steel firing pin, plus safety plunger and spring to refine the trigger pull. They also include a reduced-power striker spring to produce a lighter-feeling trigger for competition, and the factory-weight striker spring for daily carry and duty use. Next Zev adds a skeletonized stainless steel striker with reduced mass and highly polished surface to speed lock time and deliver an even lighter, smoother perceived trigger pull, plus ultra-fast reset so you’re ready for follow-up shots. Finally, the wide trigger pad and safety to ensure you get a good purchase on the trigger, buts the extended face reduces fatigue on your finger, especially during extended range times. Brownells USA Zev 08/10/2018

I have had nothing but issues with zev products (dragonfly G34 slide, zev ultimate trigger kit). I've had numerous light strikes with various primers despite the skeletonized striker. After installation, I functioned checked the trigger and it would dry fire on the release. Had there been ammo in the gun, that would basically mean an unexpected binary trigger. After quadruple checking proper installation i ended up swapping the included zev race connector with a stock glock connector. It functions fine with a slightly heavier trigger pull which was expected with adding a standard connector. I've had issues with other zev products with less than helpful customer service. Suffice to say they have lost my business forever
