Made for the rifle shooter who requires a lot from a cheek pad, the Tac Ops pad offers a soft, synthetic suede cheek rest for increased shooting comfort with minimal increase in comb height. Stitched and reinforced nylon body has a zippered pocket for carrying little necessities like a windage and elevation card, cleaning gear, or small shooting accessories. Heavy, reinforced elastic cartridge carrier outside the pocket securely holds up to 8 rounds at your fingertips, ready to load. Three hook-and-loop cinch straps provide fast, secure installation, adjustment, and removal. Rear strap includes a hook-and-loop lined drag handle.

SPECS: Cordura nylon shell, Black or Multi-Camo. 7¾" (19.6cm) long, 4" (12.7cm) tall at buttplate end, 3" (7.6cm) wide. Adds approximately .35" (8.9mm) to cheek height. 7 oz. (198g) wt.

GREAT stock pack, best on the market? (26/01/2011)

I think this might quite possibly be the best stock pack on the market. Yes, even above Eagle. Thank you Brownells for choosing wisely! The suede cheek rest is very comfortable. The 8 rounds are found outside the pack, more easily accessible than other brands that put them inside the pouch, making one more step toward retrieving a round in a hurry, and also requires you to remove yourself from behind the scope to operate the zipper. With this pouch, just reach back and snag one. It also leaves the pouch area open for other items. I can easily fit a lens cloth, small notepad, and all the allen wrenches needed to remove the action and adjust the zero stops on my scope.

the multi camo bit is a bit faded

extremely adjustable! I have two rifles that i needed to raise the cheek weld. One rifle has a very narrow stock and didn't expect this to work as i've experimented with few others. This not only had the ability to adjust to fit the narrow stock but also had the right materials in the right place. The pouch is an added bonus.

Very good and economical (15/05/2014)

Very user friendly with adjustment for various stocks. I have a 1/2" adjustable cheek piece on a McMillan A1 stock and this had more than enough room to clear it with plenty left over.

Carry your tag with you at all times. Along with your photo I.D. and extra ammo. Maybe you put on that large objective scope for that early morning shot of a lifetime and you need to raise that cheek weld. This will do it for you. Excellent product!

The Best I've Had So Far (20/08/2012)

First, let me say that I've had many buttstock shell carriers over the years. Everything from cheap Chinese junk to "top of the line" made in USA, and this Tac Ops is the best one yet. Ouality of materails and workmanship is top notch. The size of the side pouch seems a little smaller than the others I've had, a feature I like. When full, it's not as bulky as the others and does not affect the rifle's handling as the others have. Is it perfect, no, but this comes close.
