I'm near that 70 age and I find these targets a great asset for adjusting pistol sights. I just adjusted two guns sights yesterday at the range I installed new sights on and these targets saved me a lot of time from brining the targets back and forth to me. I even found a few younger shooters who tried these and were very pleased with them. As for you rifle scope shooters, yes the black can wash on the target with the black crosshairs, but the crosshairs show up on the red bulls eye just fine. I recommend them these to all shooters and have been shooting over 50 years now.
