Roughers are .010" smaller in diameter than the final size, do not cut the throat area and should be used to save wear on the Finish Reamer when many chambers are to be cut. If only a few chambers will be cut, a Finish Reamer is all you need.

Introducing the SHOTGUN CHAMBERING REAMERS by CLYMER, crafted with the finest workmanship and quality in the USA from M-7 High-Speed Steel.

Product Features:

  • Made from high-quality M-7 High-Speed Steel
  • Precision tools designed for professional use
  • Fully guaranteed for reliability
  • Roughers are .010" smaller in diameter than the final size to minimise wear on the Finish Reamer
  • Ideal for cutting multiple chambers efficiently

Specifications:

  • SHOTGUN REAMERS - Available in 6 or 8, with 8° left-hand spiral flutes or straight flutes (indicated by * in table)
  • 1" long removable bushing
  • 1/2" square shank, compatible with standard socket set extensions (except .410 which uses Clymer rifle extensions)
  • Stocked in Finishers only

Anticipate a delivery time of 4-8 weeks. Please note that the Bushing Blank can only be used on 12, 16, and 20 ga. reamers.
