Ghost’s Bullet Slide Release (BSR) for Glock® is an extended control that helps you engage in fast, positive operation of the slide release under stress. The biggest benefit of the BSR is its oversized control pad because a larger surface is easier to hit, making release of the slide possible even when your finger doesn’t come down square on the button. Perfect leverage for full control... (16/05/2012)

I purchased 2 of these. I instaled one in my Glock 32 and the other in my Glock 30SF. It takes less than 5 minutes to install if you are familiar with Glocks. They give the perfect amount of leverage back to the user to release the slide and chamber a round from a fresh mag. A must not only for competition shooters, but definitely for self defense when every fraction of a second could mean life or death. Practice, Practice, Practice!

spring retaining portion broke after racking the slide for function check. Don't waste your money, very poor quality.

Excellent Add On (14/04/2015)

I have used extended mag releases on this brand pistol for over 20 years now. I like the Ghost Bullet better than any other that I have used in the past. It is much easier to access than its factory counterpart. It feels very solid and positive.

I suspect the gentleman who had his break, put the two front pins back in the wrong order which will make the pistol function improperly and can also break the mag release spring.

A simple and essential upgrade (09/05/2016)

I just received and installed this slide release lever today, on my Glock 27. It was a bit of a challenge trying to install it. Though that was mostly because the gun itself was being stubborn, and wasn't any fault of the actual release lever itself. Once i persuaded my Glock to cooperate properly, it was simple enough to swap out the release levers.

Now that I have this new slide release installed, and have had a chance to play around with it a bit, I would highly recommend it to anybody. Its large enough to give your thumb the purchase it needs to operate the slide release better than the factory one, yet it is small enough to be completely out of the way until you needed. I'm definitely going to be installing one of these on every other Glock I purchase in the future.

Not so high-speed (03/02/2013)

I got this and installed on my Glock 22, because I liked the larger surface area. The bullet forward design looked like a good way to avoid having my thumb ride the slide release when shooting. In practice, it's too far forward, and didn't save me any time. In fact, I kept missing it after reloads and ended up putting the old slide release back on the gun.

I would go with the Bullet Slide Release in normal e.g. Not Forward, configuration.

Great for Lefties (03/06/2014)

As a left-handed shooter it can be hard at times to work most slide stop/releases. When I found this I thought I would give it a try and it is the best upgrade you can do if you are a left handed shooter. I can work the slide stop with the top side of my trigger finger when I need to lock it open. My wife loves her Glock now that she has one and yes she is a left-handed shooter also.

Best Lefty Part Yet (15/07/2014)

Iâm a left handed LEO and have been shooting Glocks for 15+ years and more than a dozen years as my duty sidearm. Our manual of arms has always dictated using slide stop lever to lock the slide to rear ONLY. To release the slide the operator reaches over the top of the slide with the support hand, grasps the slide behind the ejection port and vigorously pulls the slide to the rear. I only use the slide stop to lock the slide open. The âbullet forwardâ design is the best Iâve used yet. The 3 dimensional shaped tab allows you push the lever up. As a lefty I can do this with my left index (trigger) finger without adjusting my grip. I bought 1 and after using it, came back for 3 more. This is the only mod a southpaw shooter really âneeds.â

Huge difference with this (22/04/2018)

This forward bullet slide release is a game changer for lefties. The RH shooters would want the version with the rearward bullet.

Difficult for me to release the slide with the stock Glock part...or even the Glock extended version....with this forward button its fluid and easy.

Installation takes 5 minutes. You pop out the 2 pins [center of pistol] without moving any other internal parts. Slide the stock slide lock out the back, slide the new one in aligning the hole with the big pin, replace pins- done.
