Everything you need.(20/01/2012)
Muzzle brake that works by a company that should know everything about the M1A. All the tools you need adds up to great value.
not NM reamed(16/02/2012)
had to call springfield armory directly to order a Ca. legal, NM reamed, muzzle break.
brownells does not stock such a part. was told by brownells it could be special ordered with an aprox 4-6 week wait time.
I have heard that SA muzzle break does not fit on aftermarket barrels. have been told that splines do not engage break and castle nut does not hold break tight without staking. I haven't recieved part from SA yet so I cannot verify.
I live in Ca and shoot matches so the SA NM reamed is the only CMP legal break allowed for sure as per direction from director of the CMP.
SA part number for Ca legal, NM reamed muzzle break is MA-5049 for those who wish to know
Poor Quality(03/08/2012)
Sorry but when I received this it did not look right. Hard to explain. Put the comp on my rifle and it has a serious tilt to the right. Looks terrible. I have two USGI flash hiders that don't do this so it is not my barrel. I will attempt to return and buy the SEI comp. Lord knows which foreign country this was made in.........
