I have an old H&R Pioneer Model 765 .22 bolt action rifle and was looking for a way to mount a scope/optics on this rifle. According to the list, a #17 (48017) base fit this rifle. It wasn't even close. The two holes did not match up to the original leaf spring rear sight. What a waste of money.

This is the correct base for the Ruger American Rimfire. They come with screws but make sure you order two bases. Only one per package.

I bought this base to go under a Burris Signature Zee ring. The ring would not slide over the base because the base was too wide by a few thousandths of an inch. The rings would fit over the Weaver front base I bought, but not the rear base. I am sure the base would be fine had I bought a different style of ring. I had no idea this base would not be compatible with a Burris Zee ring.

I use these for any and all flat top rifles, pistols, black powder rifles, and shotguns except AR's. Can be cut and grooved for any flat application. Great for mounting so many different accessories, etc.
