Installed one on a Caspian slide and so far, after 10,000 rounds, it has worked so well that I installed another on a new Rock Island that had a bad factory extractor. It installed fairly easily, but required a little tensioning. It works very well and after my experience, it's the only extractor I will use.

This extractor has functioned without fail in my Ruger SR1911 for over 10,000 rounds.
