Made to Original Factory Specs For Easy Replacement
The 1911 Government model auto is about as rugged as a mountain mule, but when you take the grips off to polish and reblue the critter or put on another set of grips, chances are that the stock frame bushing will be stripped. And, when you remove the frame bushings to get the best polishing job on the frame, you’ll find yourself looking for new bushings. Standard Stock Bushing - Nicely made and finished, these special-sized, bushings are packed in sets of 4 Bushings. Stainless Steel (S/S) Stock Bushing - Look “right” on stainless steel and nickel-plated guns.
SPECS: Standard - Blued steel. Bushings - .236"-60. Use 7⁄32" tap drill for bushing. Stainless Steel (S/S) - .150"-50 thread.

Not for Colt(15/08/2010)
These bushings are too long for my Colt and protrude into the magazine well preventing the magazine from dropping freely.
Proper procedure(01/10/2010)
It is considered common, and a sign of proper application, to file bushings flush on the inside before staking them to lock them in place.
Too long is better than too short.
good product(03/05/2011)
used these on my Ruger 22/45 after I milled off the molded in grips, installed standard 1911 grips....now it really feels like a .45! These bushings worked perfectly. Had to buy a custom tap is the only downside.
Perfect(08/07/2011)
Had to replace the stock bushings on my Springfield Champion and these were a perfect fit. I screwed them in once to check the fit and ensure the magazine would drop properly and then thread locked them in place. Outstanding product.
Replaced non-standard bushings(14/03/2013)
Had two 1911 with smaller than standard bushings. Tapped standard size holes in the frames and then installed these bushings on both pistols. Perfect. Highly recommended.
Perfect(07/01/2012)
Fit snuggly, no trouble threading, screw slots were deep and true. Will replace old grip bushings on 2nd 1911 with these on next modification.
