Light, durable, enhanced grip! (22/09/2018)

These look great, don't add much weight, and do add a lot of nice grip surface area on your M-Lok handguard. Overall very inexpensive and item adds a lot to the rifle. Well worth the cost and minimal time to install.

I use these in conjunction with the M-Lock hand stop to help protect against heat. They work great.

Must-Have for Metal Handguards (04/10/2016)

These are proving indispensable for a metal rail. Not only do they wedge securely into position (a weakness of the pop-in Type 1), but their relative thickness and tendency to suspend your hand between rows of them (instead of letting skin settle between them and contact metal) makes for excellent heat protection. Their studded texture is likely to be a little sharp for some hands, but it really lends traction, and the flat center gives the hand a good surface to rest against. Realize that these bear little resemblance to the broad, curvy, even slippery XTM Picatinny panel - they're trim and rough, perfect for modern rails. They also couldn't be easier to install, and removal is pretty painless. And if you buy them in different colors, the bases and centers can be mixed and matched in various patterns, either for camouflage or just for flair. All told, I couldn't recommend them more.

Surprised and extremely pleased (15/07/2017)

I ordered these somewhat hesitantly because the older pic-rail covers from Magpul are substandard in my experience. These are excellent, however. Extremely secure and very grippy. There is absolutely no movement and nothing loose about these when installed. I like the feel of the rubbery type m-lok covers, but none that I've tried seat properly and stay that way. An added bonus of these type 2 covers is the slight overhang of the panel creates a perfect spot to retain any tape switches for lights and lasers in the gap between the 12:00 rail and the 9:00 cover panel.

Its like non skid (11/08/2017)

The texture on these covers remind me of non skid, very grippy. If you ever been on a ship, you'll know what I'm talking about. I ordered these to give my rail a little more thickness and added ruggedness as well. Once you snap these in place they can be a pain to remove so make sure you know where you want them on your rail. The center inserts fit very tight (I had to use my rubber mallet to tap these into place), you can easily brake the insert if you're trying to remove them if you're not careful. These are very affordable as you get 6 covers for 12 bucks. I think that is a more then fair price for these and of course its Magpul so you know its quality.

Light & colorful grip enhancement (27/08/2018)

Items snap into unused M-LOK slots on your handguard and add color + semi-aggressive grip texture. They look & feel great - work well with or without gloves. Low cost, light weight, and functional. Very simple & usable product.
