Adds Extra Elevation For Sights & Other Accessories

Add-on riser rail gives an additional ½" of elevation or offset sometimes needed to mount a red dot sight, light, laser, or other essential accessory. Clamps securely to any MIL-STD 1913 Picatinny rail and provides three Picatinny cross-slots. Steel crossbolt and oversized, hex-head slotted thumbscrew enable fast, easy installation and removal, with or without tools.

SPECS: Rail – 6061 T6 aluminum, hardcoat anodized, black. Crossbolt/Thumbscrew – 4140 steel, black oxide finish. 13⁄8" (3.5cm) long, 1½" (3.8cm) wide. Provides ½" (12.7mm) additional elevation. 1.4 oz. (38g) weight.

I BOUGHT A ONE INCH HIGH MICRO MOUNT FOR THE 44 CARBINE THAT I HAVE. ITS JUST TOO HIGH. I MEASURED THIS HALF INCH HIGH RISER AND IT WAS PERFECT.

Superb Quality! (06/08/2011)

Used this to mount a Sig STS-081 red dot sight to my S&W 15/22 rifle. Worked perfect! 1/2" height of the mount, lined it right up with the sights, which are now the back-up sights. Thanks Brownells!

Buy Brownells not Yankee Hill (20/02/2012)

Bought the Yankee Hill and it wobbles on my AR rail. Tried it on every other rail I have and it wobbled on all of them. Bought Brownells and it clamps on tighter than a fishes butt. The bolt is large and sticks out a bit more than I would prefer and it is heavy, but obviously well constructed. The Yankee Hill has good reviews about synching down tightly...I have no idea why. If you want to use the Yankee Hill you have to unscrew both screws with an allen wrench almost all of the way out. It is way too painful to do all that for it to rattle when you move your rifle. The Brownells is much easier. Just the single screw to tighten by hand then with a screwdriver for a few turns. Easy, simple and stable. Do yourself a favor, buy Brownells.

Shoots loose (27/02/2016)

450 bushmaster shook it loose don't want to use tread locker as defeats purpose added a lock washer problem solved.

Also Leupold QRW and PRW seats up on the cross block not the ring base.

And if your top set is also a bolt down or lever you have to reverse one of the sets do to clearance issues of the lock nut
