Regretfully unacceptable!(25/09/2012)
The diameter of the lot of Berry Bullets I got were in excess of maximum. Regretfully I loaded them without checking and put them away. A couple of months later when I tried to chamber them in a Springfield 1911, the slide wouldn't close. When I opened the slide the chamber captured the bullet and I had powder everywhere. This happened twice. I tried crimping the bullet down with the same results. I tried a Springfield XD-M with the same results. I now have two hundred rounds I have to take apart.
Had no problem with Berrys bullets(09/11/2012)
So sorry that G Man had a problem with Berrys bullets. I have purchased thousands of different bullets from them and so far, have had no problems. Based on the condition of the bullets he reports will make me be vigilant for any similarities.
only bullet I use(16/07/2014)
I have been loading for 30 years, shoot IDPA and load with a progressive press. I shoot in excess of 5000 rounds a year and have had zero problems with these bullets.
I have tried other brands and had issues with a couple other plated bullets and always go back to the berry brand.
Excellent Bullets(21/08/2014)
Good quality bullets. Used the 45 230 round nose at single stack and revolver Nationals last year. Good accuracy, very consistent.
I'm very pleased with these(30/11/2015)
I bought these for practice/target shooting. They seem very uniform and work well in my Dillon loader. I'm not pushing them velocity wise. They come in a nice plastic box and they are all bright and shiny. They are just as advertised.
Bullets ok but.... (14/03/2018)
I tried these as my first attempt at 45 and had problems with the nose of the bullet flattening or the die imparting a ring on the bullets. I have successfully reloaded over 1000 9mm and 22 tcm. I used Hornaday 45 dies. Given all the good reviews, my guess is the bullets are ok but hard for a beginner? I did see another review which stated the bullets were too big (I didn't check, as crazy as that sounds).
Berry's answer to an H&G68(21/08/2012)
This a great all around bullet for 45 ACP. Load it to 1.240~.255" OAL and go shoot. It will feed in most barrels as long as you load it long. I shot hard lead cast for 25 years but this bullet has converted me.
Berry's 185gr HBRN(20/04/2012)
I picked up 250 of these to try out on my M&P .45 handloads.
Performance so far has been great, 5.2gr charge of Tite-group, COL of 1.230 has given me great groupings so far, fouling has been almost non-existent in my application.
Won't hesitate to buy more, but by all means - don't buy them, you'll cut into my supply.
If I find a downside to using these, I'll update my comments.
Great plinking ammo!(03/04/2015)
I picked these up for my son to reload for us and they did not disappoint! Very accurate and in my opinion +P velocity (950fps range) at standard powder range (do not know what he used but it was not in +P range). My glock 21 with 460 Rowland threaded barrel (5.13") held very tight groups!
Great, and inexpensive(17/06/2012)
If you can, buy these in bulk, they are high quality, without any of the quality control issues of the "other" big plated bullet brand. These load well, shoot great, and don't leave anything in your barrel.
First time re-loader in 38 and 357(30/12/2017)
I had heard reloading your own increases accuracy. I believe it now!
I bought some cheap wadcutters along with these and tried them in both 38 and 357. both max and minimum loads. I am not going to use unplated wadcutters any more! makes a lead mess and they are messy on your hands loading them. I think the Berrys flat points were more accurate. I found that the lightest loads on the chart work perfect. I also ran them up to 1250 in magnum for fun. they performed but it was not worth the extra powder in my book. sticking with 4.6 grain of hp-38 for the magnums and 4 grains in 38 special.
These bullets are clean going in and coming out. no mess. well worth the low price and worth the little extra they cost over standard lead bullets.
Highest quality control(30/10/2014)
Always shoot exactly the same predicable, accurate way. Consistent weight makes reloading a pleasure.

This ammo flies true and hits hard,, great product and better value. And with Brownells,, if your not happy,, they're not happy. Good product, good value, good company,, and great people. Thanks Steve
Very consistent and well-made bullets!(14/09/2018)
If you weigh and measure a handful of these you will see that they are EXTREMELY consistent for plated bullets. If you need to load target or competition ammo in bulk, this is the way to go. Why waste money on jacketed bullets? You won't be disappointed with Berry's!
