Eighteen incredibly thin bits to fit the extra-narrow screw slots often encountered in the gun shop. Take great care when using these bits. The blade MUST fill the slot from side-to-side and edge-to-edge or it will most certainly break on a firmly seated screw. Freeze spray, heat, penetrating oil, a few taps, regrinding the bit for an even better fit - all these tricks can help give success.

I bought this set along with the 44 bit set and I have found that I use this thin bit more on my shotguns.
Thin bit set(14/10/2010)
If you work or even hope to work on Browning guns, then this set-SET is a necessity. Good quality but they can break, even when properly used but on some Brownings, you must use these or special thin bit drivers. This is the less expensive way.
A real time saver(14/09/2011)
If you don't have the time to make a specialty screwdriver for every thin bit screw head that you come across, then I would highly recommend this set. As A fulltime gunsmith for 36 years, I was a bit skeptical as to their strength before buying, but I am extremely pleased with their quality. For the older Winchester 94's, Browning Superposed, and most all European guns that use the thinner slot bits, you can not go wrong with this set.
Just what I needed(28/02/2012)
Thanks Brownell's for making my life just a little "bit" easier! These bits are perfect for the Brownings I frequently work on. Of course, all these thin bits will break if pushed, but can be ordered seperately.
Nice set, but be careful...(05/05/2012)
These are good, but not really made for high torque applications like securing trigger wood screws. First attempt at doing that and the tip broke off.
Great Addition(13/09/2012)
They are thin, you may break them with too much torque, but when you need a thin bit nothing else will do. They fit my Browning Citoris and Winchester 101. If you work on European arms or double shotguns you need to add these to your tools.
