I would and did buy this product again(21/04/2010)
Fits perfect in my Sig P238. A great improvement to the factory nylon trigger.
THIS WILL FIT THE SIG P238! nice piece!(07/03/2012)
I had asked the question about whether or not this would fit the new Sig P238, but the response was NO. I decided that my curiousity would not let that deter me from trying it out... After all the Wolff springs will fit both the Colt and the Sig. This went in without a problem and worked out very well. The only thing that I would add to this part (and I am surprised that it was not added) would be an overtravel screw at the bottom. I installed my own and it makes a huge difference. Also, one in a parkerized black would be sweet as well. If Cylinder and Slide decide to machine one in, please send one to me !! and Brownells, advertise this for the Sig P238 also.
A lot better(02/04/2012)
Much better than the factory plastic junk trigger that brakes.
If you have a Colt 380 buy this now.(06/04/2012)
If you have a Colt 380 buy this now. The cheap plastic trigger that comes in the gun will brake some day. You do not what that to be the day you need it.
Works ok in a government pocketlight.(27/07/2012)
mine had some metal shavings in the nooks and the mounting pin holes shifted the trigger lever back a few mils causing it to get stuck on the ejector clip preventing the trigger from resetting. It only happened when you fired it with live rounds too. Work just fine dry firing. Took me a while to find that one. I fixed that by rounding the corners on the trigger bar bracket. I hit it with some 1100 grit sandpaper to shine it up a bit and get it to slide in a little easier when installing
P938(10/09/2012)
I read some things about possible using this in the Sig p938. I took the chance and replaced the plastic trigger in the P938 and this one works great. I have also read you can use this in the p238 as well.
Worsened the trigger in P238(08/11/2014)
I think My upgraded trigger must have been overbored where the trigger spring goes, it seems to have slightly increased the amount of slop and creep, giving the P238 slightly more spongy feeling, and not as crisp as the stock plastic trigger.
I can hear the spring grating on the inside of the trigger as well, none of this happened with the stock plastic piece.
I'm leaving it in for now, to see how this performs at the range.
On a positive side note, trigger breaks at slightly lower weight now, but I didnt put up the trigger gauge pre or post.
Edit: removed the trigger, lubed up the spring and cleaned out the trigger spring area, seems to have improved the trigger and decreased sponginess, still not as crisp as stock though.
My Colt Mustang pocketlite serial no PL1147XX comes with anodized aluminum trigger and did not need to be replaced
Needs to be fit.(11/08/2017)
This is the third trigger that I have installed in a Mustang made by Cylinder and Slide. This one was the worst. The trigger bar slot had to be fit, the Spring hole had to be fit and the pivot hole had to be fit. I think their tooling has to be replaced.
