Challis hex drive bushings represent a breakthrough design, ideal for custom builds and replacing damaged bushings. These bushings utilize a 7/32” nut driver, allowing you to feel thread engagement and avoid damaging cross threading. The robust hex head is engineered to handle the torque necessary for proper seating, ensuring that you won’t distort the bushing or risk slipping and scratching your firearm.

  • Easy Removal: Using the same driver, these bushings can be easily removed without any risk to the frame or bushing.
  • Reusable Design: Unlike traditional bushings, Challis bushings can be reused multiple times, making them a cost-effective choice.
  • Optional O-ring Fit: Hex drive bushings can be fitted with an optional O-ring that keeps grips snugly in place and minimizes shock to the grips and bushings during discharge.
  • Protective Benefits: The use of O-rings reduces scuffing of the frame caused by G10 and other abrasive grips, protects fragile and expensive grips such as ivory and mammoth tooth, and minimizes loosening of bushings from heavy grip materials like G10, carbon fiber, and aluminum.
