Definitely recommended
Very Nice Product 13/02/2017
I also purchased two of these FRS stocks. Installing this stock was very easy if you know AR platforms. A friend doesn't know them at all and called me to install his. Taking my time and being very careful, it took me about 20 min to install this stock It can be done quicker if you want to rush. I find the look to be rather nice. Different but nice. I also found the L.O.P. to be almost perfect for me. Both AR's have optics and nothing changed as far as eye relief. Living in the non freedom state of Commie-fornia, this should satisfy the anti gun Czars in Sacramento.
This is actually a very well made product and the feel is nice. You may want to try one even if you don't live in a dictator state.

Great Replacement Stock for CA AR-15's 14/01/2017
I purchased two of these FRS-15 Enhanced Stock kits to convert my "evil" CA AR-15's into "featureless", and therefore "non-evil", rifles. The kit comes will all required installation hardware, is very easy to install and will also allow for the addition of a regular magazine release button to be installed, as long as no other "evil features" are on the weapon. (Be sure to check with your local laws to ensure legal compliance.) I have taken my rifles to the range and am pleased with the comfort and ease with which this stock allows me to acquire a solid sight picture and land initial and follow-up shots on target. In some respects, I now prefer this configuration to the pistol grip configuration. I would certainly recommend this product as an alternative to registering an AR-15 as an "assault weapon" in California.
*Note: Depending upon the manufacturer of the AR-15, the replacement of your receiver end plate with the FRS-15 kit ergonomic end plate may not be necessary depending upon the edge radius that may be on your OEM part. In my case, both of my AR buffer tube castle nuts were "staked" by the manufacturer and I therefore chose to not break those stakes and left the OEM end plate on the rifles.
