One-piece, aluminum mount with integral rings is precision machined to true MIL-STD 1913 Picatinny specs for a secure fit on flattop receiver rails. Ring height and forward offset are ideal for use with long eye relief scopes. Mounts available for 1"/30mm and 34mm scope tubes. 1"/30mm mount accepts scopes with both 30mm tubes and, using the included polymer adapter shims, 1" tubes. Torx® head screws (4 on 1"/30mm, 6 on 34mm and 35mm) secure each top ring strap to hold the optics tight under heavy recoil. Full-length base clamps to the receiver with five, equally spaced crossbolts for a rock-solid fit and zero movement.
SPECS: 6061 T6 aluminum, hardcoat anodized, matte black. Includes instructions and T15 and T20 Torx wrenches. 1"/30mm - Approximately 5½" (14cm) long, 1¾" (4.4cm) wide, 21⁄8" (5.4cm) high. 7.1 oz. (201 g) weight. Elevates a 30mm optic .965" (24.5mm), measured from top of receiver rail to bottom of scope. 34mm - 5¾" (14.6cm) long, 115⁄16" (4.9cm) wide, 2½" (6.3cm) overall height. 7 oz. (198g) weight. Height - .760" (1.9cm), measured from top of receiver rail to bottom of scope tube.

JP built to use (19/04/2016)
I used this mount to attach a heavy 34MM scope to a Ruger precision rifle. Objective lens is 50MM and there is sufficient room for any lens cover and you still don't have to run the cheek piece very high at all. This mount is very solid and very lightweight as well. Recoil lug is very solid. Rings hold the optic securely at 15 in-lb with six screws per cap. I really like the fact that there are no big bolts or nuts to obscure vision. I did have burrs in each threaded portion of the base, run the screws in and out once from the "wrong" side before you mount the base to your top rail to clear those out. I don't plan on removing this often but the return to zero should be right on just looking at the design.
Excellent non-QD scope(25/08/2011)
Best AR-15 mount available if you don't need QD. Light but completely solid. Rings lined up perfectly out of the box. I shoot with my cheek on the front edge of a Magpul PRS cheek piece and had room to spare to mount a Leupold 3.5-10x40 Mark 4 on the receiver. Even if you had to hang over the receiver I think 4 bolts would be more than enough to hold this mount. Elevation is the same as a 30mm Larue Tactical LT-104, .09" higher than a 1" LT-104 because of the shims. I needed to raise the cheek piece some for a good site picture but that is better than being too low.
