One Heavy Duty Mount(16/04/2010)
This mount is a very heavy duty, well made mount. It seems to center very well on my flattop rail. I installed the mount, put the scope in place and checked it for zero with a boresighter. Scope was within 1 MOA of center. That's much better than some of the mounts I have seen for more than twice the price. The only Con is that it is a bit heavy. If it wasn't for that I would have given it 5 stars.
Really good mount(25/01/2011)
Just got this mount for an AR build that I was doing. This mount is very stout and return to zero is very good too. I painted mine with some of the Brownells bake on laquers. Very good quality product to mount your optics.
Nice mount(15/11/2011)
If you are going to be taking your scope off a lot, this is the mount for you. The one piece construction ensures that it on target with minimal adjustment.
PRECISION!(04/08/2012)
Used this to mount my 10x MilDot scope on my DPMS LR308. Carefully tightened the screws and took it to the range. The first shot at 50 yds was an inch high and two to the right! Well made, stays tight, high quality. You can pay more but you're not getting a better mount, in my opinion. Very happy.
The best deal in an AR mount. USA Made*(27/03/2015)
I am a best bang for the buck guy. I don't pay more than I have to ever and then again quality is never a trade off when buying a piece of equipment that your life may count on some day. Well, this mount is NOT EXPENSIVE and it is BUILT LIKE A TANK. It securely mounts to my AR and I can not find one flaw. Someone may mention it's weight but it is aluminum and extremely durable. So, if you don't want to pay $200.00 for a mount that is no better this this one save the $140.00 and buy another gadget or take your girlfriend/wife out for the night.
Seriously, to pay any more for a known name, in this case, is just dumb.
I like it(03/08/2009)
Use this mount with a 6-18X scope on an AR-15 flattop rifle. Once setup with the scope, the mount/scope is easily removed/installed with minimal/no shift in zero. The setup is very rigid, but weighs more than some other mounts.
Rigid Mount(10/09/2009)
I placed this on my Rock River Arms LAR-8 using a Trijicon TR20-2. Though it is heavy I like how the scope is rock solid. No re-zeroing required.
Mmm... Beefy!(14/11/2009)
This scope mount is rock solid. On my flat-top AR15, the scope holds its zero when removed and re-installed. The only drawback (and the only reason I didn't give a perfect score) is that the scope mount is a little heavy.
Great mount for the money.(16/07/2010)
[...]. It is well made of aircraft grade aluminum and I did not find it heavy like other reviewers. The forward cant of the front ring made it easy to adjust my DMS-1 scope for eye relief and bore sight it on my M4 flattop carbine. The sight picture cleared the front sight with no problem.I took it to the range today, got the rifle on target and was making MOA groups at 100 yards after 6 round sight-in.This is an excellent mount for the money and I just can't see spending 2 or 3 times as much after using this one.[...]
Fast and solid(19/07/2010)
I got mine when I bought a scope from a friend and it had the mount on it already. I liked it before I even put it on the rifle. While a bit bulky, it is rock solid and very easy to install or remove without tools. I have a rock river arms 308 flatop and a bushmaster match V. Both deserve a very good scope and I use one scope between the two because of this mount will easily move between the two flatops.
Best bang for buck hands down(01/10/2011)
10.7 ounces this thing weighs, thats about 3-4 ounces more than ones that cost 4x as much. I have this on my AR15 with a nikon m223 scope. I couldnt be happier. Its a semi quick detach-- I can get the scope off in about 4 seconds. I have taken off many times to clean rifle put it back on and gone shooting with no adjustment- it really holds zero. For those of you wanting a solid mount on a budget there really is no other coice. This thing works very very well, with one drawback- 1/4 pound heavier than top name brand models that run [$] Might consider the nikon m223 mount, but it costs twice as much and has no QD.
a little fat but cute(07/07/2012)
I like this mount - it holds a Kahles on my Del-Ton upper quite securely, but is very heavy. For the price, though, it is an excellent choice.
I would by this product again.(23/11/2012)
Mounted this on my M&P 15 with Nikon scope worked out great and was very well made, their was no interference with front sight. Plus half the price as others with only one conection to top rather then bying two peice mount system.
Tough - Strong Scope Mount(06/01/2014)
This is an extremely strong 1" scope mount for a flat top receiver. Can be placed anywhere on the top. I like the height, my cheek weld meets to provide a straight in shot at the scope. I put this on a .264 LBC because I wanted something that would take a little more 'bump' and still withstand the roughness driving around 'dog towns' in a four wheel drive cart. Works very well for what I intended it for.
PRODUCT REVIEW(24/03/2014)
INSTALLED ONE TODAY ON AN AR-15 PIC-RAIL FLATTOP. INSTALL WAS SUPER EASY. MOUNTING RINGS REQUIRED NO LAPPING TO BETTER FIT SCOPE TUBE. RUGGED CONSTRUCTION, WELL MADE, & SHOULD BE VERY HARD TO DAMAGE IN NORMAL OR TACTICAL USE. CANNOT FIND ANYTHING TO FAULT !!!!!
