Small but mighty(30/08/2013)
I had my FNAR barrel threaded for a brake but didn't want to add too much more length. This fit the bill perfectly.
It adds some noise as you would expect but does an amazing job at taming recoil considering its size.
Small, simple & effective!(09/03/2014)
Great value for the price! I milled mine down to .826 for use with my 7.62 barrel looks perfect!
Cannot be fitted to muzzle(16/02/2015)
The area between the threaded portion of the brake and rear baffle is not relieved to allow threads to pass so it cannot be fitted to the muzzle. No need for the wrench flats; limits some fitting options. Made of a type of steel that doesn't blue or parkerize readily. Please fix.
Installed this for a customer on a PTR-91 .308 and it broke at the weak point between the rows of holes which is thin. Threads on barrel are true but after firing the end blew off from the muzzle blast. At least nobody was hurt! What a shame since the size of this brake is what attracted the customer to purchase this. Flimsy construction and questionable heat treatment. :o(
