Unfortunate Issues (22/10/2017)

Unfortunately I have had no success with this slide. Something appears to be off with the geometry of the portion of the slide that resets at the connector. It hangs up and will not allow the trigger to reset. I have swapped connectors, frames with know good ones, entire slides, all internals. The issue follows the slide. Upon comparison to a known good slide, the profile is different. Wish it weren't a problem but I cannot get it to work no matter how much fitting I try to do. This is the last week I will work on it before throwing in the towel after 3 months of labor and many many parts to diagnosis the issue. The issues I see are firing out of battery, light primer strikes, and trigger not resetting.

Unfortunately, I cannot and will not recommend this slide. Everything else about it has been great, but it does not function. I will continue to usebtge many excellent brownells products available, but this is not one of those products.

AMAZING! (10/12/2017)

I ordered this slide for my PF940c build the first week Brownells introduced this slide. Initial inspection revealed great, clean machine work! Sent my slide off to Primary Machine and had it some serrations cut & cerakote burnt bronze. I absolute the end results! Finished off this slide with a Brownells Victory First barrel, slide completion kit and I will be installing WOTG sights.

I can't wait until these slides are back in stock...I will order one as soon as they become available.

***Brownells...if you can include a channel liner, that would be FANTASTIC***

Good basic G-Lock slide (17/03/2018)

Ordered for a Pylomer80 compact build. About the most economical slide on the market. Punched 30 rounds through. Some slide hang up issues. But that should free up as soon as the great frozen North warms up come spring and I go to the gun range with out freezing solid. Also hard to rack with out slide serrations. That taken care of once the Clausing 8520 mill is running.

I actually purchased the G17 variant; however, as a 20 plus year Glock Certified Armorer, I would say with a very high degree of confidence that the reviewer who gave the slide a one star review claiming all of the issues with tolerance etc. failed to install a firing pin channel liner. A common mistake for those who think they know, but havenât been trained on how to properly disassemble and assemble a Glock from parts. The slide has impeccable machining, all stock parts and many quality after market parts fit and function as they should. This is a real bargain if you are planning on having aesthetic machining done to your Glock slide without carving on your stock one.

Would be great if the plunger fit (20/04/2018)

I'm an amateur Glock P80 builder. The safety plunger hole was drilled too small. I don't own a machine that can fix this. I tried a Glock OEM plunger and an aftermarket plunger, neither one fit. Other than that, the slide seems pretty well made but that doesn't matter to me because I can't use it.

Impeccable machining, fit and finish. All stock and most quality aftermarket parts will fit and function properly. A fantastic economical option if you are planning on having custom aesthetic machining work done on your Glock without carving up your stock slide. Do not forget that it will need a firing pin channel liner as it seems one reviewer of the G19 variant did and then posted a poor review. You will not be disappointed!
