Bronze Or Nylon Bristles Scrub Bores Clean Without Scratching
Hard-scrubbing brushes strip fouling quickly, leaving the bore sparkling clean. Premium-quality phosphor bronze bristles have twice the fill and a much longer life than generic brushes, with bristles all the way to the tip. More bristles mean fast, thorough cleaning. Stem is cold welded to the looped-and-wound brass core to withstand up to 200 lbs. of pull force without separating. All models are threaded to fit standard 8-32 rods and precision machined to ensure a clean starter thread so the brush screws on the rod easily. Caliber stamped on the stem, so you can be sure you always have the correct-size brush for your gun. Some calibers available with nylon bristles for jobs requiring less aggressive scrubbing action. Universal length fits both rifle and handgun bores.
SPECS: Brass wire shank, bronze or nylon bristles. Approximately 21⁄8" (5.4cm) long. Standard 8-32 tpi threads. Pistol/rifle brushes sold in 10 paks, each brush in individual plastic tube.

Pefect for 38/357 Revolvers(09/11/2012)
The work very well in the bore and cylinders of revolvers.Slightly oversized.
A few good brushes(10/07/2011)
These brushes are really nice.
The bristles are full, tight, and even.
The caliber stamping on the base helps keep you organized, as do the quality, reusable, individual plastic boxes that each brush comes in. (You can even label the boxes with a Sharpie which brush you have moved to non-bore use.)
Beyond what the sales blurb states on these, each brush I used was nice and straight, keeping the cleaning rod well centered in the bore.
Bore fit was properly snug, but not a rod bending (and bore damaging) overly tight fit.
The only downside was the outer packaging. The clear blister pack is a PAIN to open! Come on, Otis, seriously? Lighten up on this. You shouldn't have to start thinking about grabbing some tin snips when trying to get at the product!
Nylon is the way to go(05/05/2012)
Opt for the nylon-- they're worth it, cleaning better and lasting longer.
Stay effective longer than others (09/05/2016)
Conveniently packaged these brushes last far longer than others I've used. Some other name brand brushes crush down so much they are useless after one use. I clean one or two 1911's a day and get about a week out of each brush. I then use them on my 9mm's after which they are still good for scrubbing. Very cost effective and quality made.
