Description:

These tool steel sizing dies incorporate two separate Titanium carbide rings to properly resize straight-wall pistol cases. With a single stroke of the press, the top ring dimensionally sizes the case at the mouth, while the lower rings sizes the length of the case body without overworking the brass and shortening case life.

Top takeaways

  1. The die features two Titanium carbide rings for precise resizing of straight-wall pistol cases.
  2. It sizes the case mouth and body in one stroke, preventing overwork of brass and extending case life.
  3. Specifically designed for .357 Magnum cartridges and compatible with standard reloading presses.

Brownells USA It Does What They Say It Does 13/12/2011

I reload .45 acp for my 1911's and Glock 21. After I have finished resizing my cases; I can see that the mouth of each case was smaller ( about 1/3 of the way down the body) in diameter than the rest of the case. It makes my old Redding carbide die almost obsolete. The directions recommend that you lube the cases prior to resizing. I do not do this step in my reloading process. However it does require me to use more elbow grease in my RCBS rock chucker than I would with my other resizing dies for .45 acp. I have already put hundreds of range brass cases through this die, and about 98% of the time the cases drop in and out of my LE Wilson case gage without a hitch. The reason why I did not give this product 5 stars is its cost. There are other manufactures that can perform the same task at a much more modest price. I recommend this product to shooters who are very serious about reloading, looking to upgrade their resizing die, or for people who want only the very best that money can buy.

Definitely recommended

Brownells USA Great product 15/07/2011

With each passing batch being reloaded no longer do I find it necessary to check resized brass in my LE Wilson max cartridge gage. No longer do I find a need to reposition the resizer to work more of the case to ensure smooth feeding in the 1911s.
