Gen 4 Grip plug(19/02/2015)
After three month on my hip, the grip on my Gen4 G23 had a substantial amount of lint filling the rear void behind the magazine. I installed the grip plug to keep foreign matter out of the trigger mechanism and it seems to be working nicely. If there were anything negative about filling this void, it might be that this plug could slow an emergency reload, creating delays if the magazine failed to drop free as the pre-plug void in the grip allows my thumb to securely grab the magazine and strip it free; this is especially true during type 3 malfunction drills. However, in normal use my G23 has never failed to freely drop magazines... so I'll keep the plug and take my chances.

this plug did not fit my 21 SF. Pushed into grip and the button engaged the lanyard hole but was not flush with grip bottom. At least 1/8" from going in all the way.

I bought 3 of them for my guns, one 2nd generation and two 3rd generation. They don't add any length, look good and fit tightly in all models without getting in the way of the magazine. Easy to put in and take out.

Bad Design - Causes magazines to snag(21/01/2014)
The JP-3 plug is a poor design. It install easily enough, but creates a ledge with the bottom of the magazine well which will cause the back end of your magazine to snag during reloading. A Glock grip plug should create a smooth snag-free surface to facilitate reloads. A little extra plastic bevel is all that is needed. This model stinks.

Installs in seconds with a perfect fit for the G26. It keeps the gun sealed up so lint and dirt etc. will not get to the action or anything. I use the gun as a carry gun and got sick of cleaning crud out of the grip on a weekly basis and this does the trick. For the price you can't go wrong and will pay for it's self in no time at all. Just from not having to clean it out all the time and cleaning supplies
