Smooth, Top Grain Leather-U.S. Made
Gorgeous, handmade, smooth leather bench bags that allow rifle to slide freely during recoil. Made from 3-3½ oz., top grain cowhide, finished in a beautiful cork color. Bag bottoms made from same leather but sueded for a good grip on rest or bench. DuPont nylon stitching won t rot or mildew. Bags with a C sufix have a smooth sliding, Cordura bag with a suede base and tie-down tabs to stay in position on the rest. Brass eyelets won t corrode or abrade the tie-down, Superb! NOTE: Bags shipped empty. Fill with sand or lead shot that you provide. No. 9 Large Owl Rear Front Bag is nearly twice as wide, front to rear, as narrower bags. Good, all-around bag for sporter and varmint forends.

Definitely recommended

Brownells USA Beautifully Made but Takes Time to Fill 05/02/2010

As mentioned in my review of the rear bag, these bags are beautifully made in the USA. However, give yourself plenty of time to fill even this small bag. Dry the sand in the oven and have a variety of small funnels to use. Take some time as it is a slow process. You need a Phillips screwdriver to tamp the sand down as it fills the bag.
