especially if you're using a speed loader. these are great. you can see whether you've loaded all 10, looking right thru the speed loader.
i just bought 5 more. Really wish they came in 5-cartridge size. (for those of us living in impaired-freedom zipcodes :)

Too many guys buy the "shoot 'em all week" size aftermarket magazines and then complain about their guns jamming all the time. It's not the gun!!! Get original Ruger 10 round rotary magazines and nothing else.

I've tried 'em all, what good is a 50rnd drum that constantly misfeeds?

Stick with the clear 10rnd mags on tri-clips. 100% awesomeness.

They work perfectly like you expect from a factory Ruger product, and itâs a bonus to see how many rounds remain. They are a little more expensive than the solid black ones, but worth it to me.

The original magazine that probably was the key factor to make the otherwise cheap ruger .22 rifle into such a big success. If your Ruger doesn't feed from this one, then u have a problem.

The Only Choice for Me (06/07/2013)

I shoot a 10/22 in Steel competition on a regular basis, and this is the only magazine I will use. It NEVER fails. I always laugh when I see somebody pull out a banana clip in competition, and it jams while they're in the shooting box, and I just soar past them in the rankings while they're cussing out their equipment. Stick with this little rotary design, and you will never cuss at your magazine!!!

I bought this for a Ruger American Rimfire. Fits perfect and drops free with no issues. I had read on several gun forums that some people had issues with newer magazines. No such problem with these.
