A quality part (25/12/2009)
It was easy to install and has a light, crisp letoff.

Cons: The ball-end 1/16" hex-drive (Allen) wrench necessary for adjustments wasn't included. The tool costs about $1 and I'd have gladly paid that as part of the kit or ordered it with the trigger if there had been a warning in the catalog description.
The trigger's appearance is a little rough.
Otherwise this would have been a five-star review.

Tip: Don't stone or polish the contact points even lightly before installation and testing. I ended up with a pull weight that was less than I expected.

great trigger, needs allen to included (07/11/2010)
This trigger is great if you have some mech ability.Installed it easly and found it had more over travel than i wanted, took it apart and used the allen on the trigger and made it perfect for me.Then found that it had to much creep.Took it apart 3 more times till i got it perfect. The next session at the range proved that it was a great investment.

Perfect (10/06/2014)
Installation was straight forward. I went thru it once without applying the Thread locker just to get the procedure down. Very easy and a nice smooth 1.5 to 2 pound trigger. Maybe took 35 minutes.

Outstanding (05/03/2016)
I just bought the new Ruger 77/17 wsm and after reviewing was told that the stock trigger was very heavy. I got the gun in and its true it has a heavy trigger. I found this Jard trigger on Brownells and to my surprise it was very easy to install. It is awesome. Im sure there are some people out there who will spend hundreds of $ on gunsmiths and everything. Im a gun enthusiast and hunter shooter and like high quality. This is high quality. I just ordered another one for my cousin that I will install on his new Ruger 77/17 wsm. Only thing I can think of is it would be cool to have a grey color but the silver looks good.

Does not fit Ruger 77/17 WSM (23/05/2016)
This trigger DOES NOT FIT a Ruger 77/17 WSM. The triggers are completely different.

I dont want to give it one star, but you have to rate it to post a review. I am sure the trigger works fine, but as it wont fit, I have no way of knowing.

I just want to save you all the time and trouble of ordering one for a WSM.

Ruger 77/17 Wsm (27/01/2017)
The reviewer below ( willienelsonjr Fort Collins, CO ) must have purchased a different Trigger, because this Trigger fit my Ruger 77/17 WSM just fine.

It does take a little understanding of triggers to adjust properly, the over-travel and sear engagement are the hardest part of the install, and even then it's not that hard to do if you have an understanding how the set screws work.

I now have a very crisp Trigger with no Creep or over Travel.

I plan on purchasing one for my 77/22 Mag and 77/22

Easy Peasy...so easy a caveman can do it (07/07/2017)
About as simple as it gets. To adjust trigger over travel, I found it easier to remove the bolt and press down on the sear to align the access hole, and adjust the trigger over travel set screw. Took about fifteen minutes to install and adjust.
