Works as promised 10/05/2017
It requires a bit of extra care when field stripping and reassembling to make sure it goes in correctly, but once installed it definitely reduces the metal on metal impact, cycles fine, and seems like a great idea to lengthen the life of your pistol. Thousands of rounds fired no issues.

The buffer moves along the guide rod, it doesn't stay put. You'll notice a positive difference when cycling the receiver, you won't feel metal on metal. But if the piece fails (breaks) during the firing process what'll happen?
