Best CLP available (06/07/2012)

For me the most outstanding feature of the Weapon Shield CLP is the heavier oil viscosity.Thicker than most clp's,more closely resembling an LP in that regard,so it clings to the metal like a magnet,but still cleans and penetrates quickly displacing dirt and fouling.Once applied seems to form a barrier reducing hard fouling attachment on most parts allowing for easy wipe off cleaning.For heavily fouled parts an overnight soak will typically soften the fouling enough to wipe off.Has a pleasant cinnamon scent and not petro chemical.Uses a base oil for cleaning rather than a solvent,so its safe for my hands,gun finishes and polymer parts.
Very slick lubricant and does not flash off the parts in hot weather or during use.Also doesn't thicken or get sticky in cold weather.Ive been using this CLP since its introduction in 2007 and have not seen any corrosion on my firearms.Best CLP on the market in my opinion.

Cleans, lubricates and protects (firearms, knives, tools, etc..) better than anything I've used in the past 20 years. Also, it does not irritate my skin and it has a pleasant scent. If you have not tried it, you could just test a small bottle yourself. I strongly suspect you'll be back for more.

hands down the best CLP on the market ... I used SLIP 2000 for a long time but no longer . Weapon Shield my humble opinion is the best , I've used it on my AR's , revolvers and my 17HMR .. The AR's function flawlessly . The bolt action on my 17HMR feels smooth and effortless when cycling a round . crazy thing is very little goes a long way ....I will be using Weapon Shield for a long time to come . I highly recommend Weapon Shield you will not be disappointed .........

I've been using WS for a little over a year and I absolutely love it! I've always liked CLP but I have to say this is by far the best that I have used. As a full-time mechanic I have taken the grease out of my impact gun and after 8 months of daily use it has held up better then the tool grease that normally is ran in my air tools. Pistols shotguns and rifles now all use Weaponshield! Ohh and my air tools at work.

What can I say? It works good and it smells good with a faint cinnamon smell. I switched to this after using breakfee clp without issue for at least 20yrs only because breakfree stinks and has quite a few warnings about it possibly being bad for you.

Handy oiler (06/07/2012)

This is a fantastic pen oiler for quick relubes in the field,and getting into hard to reach areas.About the same size as a ink pen so its easy to carry in a pocket,range box,pack or a utility pouch.
The needle unsrews from the tube allowing easy refills from the 16oz. bottle of Weapon Shield CLP.Has a oring seal on the needle so it seals tight with no leaks.
Should come with the 16oz. bottle as a package.

Definately worth the money (15/08/2014)

You only get a quarter of an oz in this pen, which is why I almost passed on it, and was very unhappy when it shipped alone as the other bottles were back ordered. However, after using it to lube a completely dry BCG and charging handle, then my pistol, I still have 3/4th of the pen left. And I wasted quite a bit applying it on the BCG. Pistol feels smoother than with breakfree. As a cleaner it appears to do its job, I ran a soaked patch through the bore before I ever shot the gun as it was brand new, and pulled out some carbon from the test firing, I shot a magazine through it and it pulled out black. chromed barrel so doesn't prove too much but it works for me.

It appears to be an upgrade from breakfree CLP and as it is the same price it is a no brainer.

Great CLP (26/11/2015)

Great lubricity... and it lifted copper fouling better than Hoppe's Elite cleaner & Hoppe's Synthetic bore cleaner. The attached photo is the result of a 5 minute soak after a wet patch and a few strokes with a saturated bore brush. I have seen copper attacked/dissolved by harsh chemicals but have never seen copper floating out like that (see end of barrel)... pretty cool!

Only product I will ever use AGAIN (22/02/2016)

I use weapons shield because it is 'one stop shopping.' Have tried multitude of products over the years, even planned on creating my own batch of Ed's Red., Since my schedule is busy enough..... I chose to not reinvent the wheel. This is all the product I need.
