Junk(25/02/2013)
I wanted an inexpensive hard case to carry New Remington 700/w Leupold scope to the range & back(a soft case may give you a Ding).I got a CHEAP JUNK case. The Rifle slides around in case and hits the hard plastic forms of the case (padding thin) I added padding, sides of case bulge out Rifle still slides around.I told customer service the problem, I was told it's not a product fault but a choice issue, local shipping is $18.00 per case. on choice issues no return shipping by Brownells.I think it's a product poorly made. I have $300.00 cases.I wasn't going flying, only 11 miles to the range
Great for shipping not for long time use(20/08/2014)
This case is good for one thing and that's shipping your rifles in. It comes packed already in a cardboard box so it makes shipping easy. I still wrap the rifles with some foam/bubble wrap for extra protection. Will this case last forever, No but I have shipped the same case/box a few times, before it broke. I look at these as a consumable if you can get a few uses out of it great if it last's only one time that's great as well. As long as it protects the rifle long enough to get where it's needed, I feel it's done it's job.
