Converts Military Safety To Convenient Side Swing Position
Modernizes the original military shroud and vertical safety to an easier-to-operate, two-position, side swing. Complete, ready-to-install kit provides increased clearance for lower mounting of scopes. Vertical grooving on thumb lever gives a positive, no-slip grip. Fully hardened and heat treated to resist wear. Requires machining of your shroud.

SPECS: Steel, in-the-white. Kit includes Lever, Pivot Screw, Plunger and Spring. Does not include Shroud. Requires gunsmith installation and final polishing. #120K fits M-98 Mauser, #140K fits 03/03A3 Springfield.

Brownells USA Safety is great. The instructions stink 08/03/2013

Go slow and take your own measurements. measure from safety hole center to notch on striker when in the cocked position(to locate where the slot is milled in shroud). And from pivot hole to notch. make sure the firing pin will be pulled back enough to release sear.

Brownells USA Easy install with dremel tool.. perfect! 26/04/2012

I installed this using my dremel tool to grind and make necessary cuts needed. Safety was hard to use in original military form and this took it to the next level with perfect function. Was not that hard to do with simple tools. Very positive detents hold it in two positions without any slop or rattle. Can't wait to do another.
